Protect your skin from harmful UV rays

In some countries, women use parasols to protect themselves from the harsh sunlight especially during the summer months. In the Philippines, we use umbrellas. And what’s the difference between a parasol and an umbrella? In construction, they are the same. The difference is in the material. Some parasols are not waterproof.

I’m not an umbrella person because I like to keep both hands free. I prefer wide-brimmed hats during the summer and raincoats during the rainy season. But if parasols are as pretty as these Mulan-inspired creations — I might just reconsider. Found at SM Megamall.

Just wondering Ms. Connie, why did you change the quick melt cheese to sharp cheddar? I read from a recent post that you said “cheddar doesn’t melt well.” I’m curious to know if there is any difference on the outcome? Thank you, more power!

Because, these days, quick melt is so full of extenders that it doesn’t actually melt well.

Local “cheddar” doesn’t melt well for the same reasons.

Good quality (real) cheddar melts well especially if you shred/grate or slice thinly.
